Kesar Life – The story behind natural beauty

Hello, my name is Aleksandrina, founder of Kesar Life.
I would like to share with you the story of my brand and how it all began.

Nature has always been my passion, and beauty my inspiration. The idea for the brand was born quite unexpectedly in 2020, during the lockdowns. I was watching a documentary about saffron on National Geographic and was fascinated by the way this unique spice is grown, harvested, and used.

My curiosity led me to research the saffron crocus, and I discovered that Bulgaria already grows this precious golden flower. I decided I wanted to be closer to nature and try growing saffron myself. So, in August 2021, in my grandfather’s empty gardens near Petrich, I planted the first bulbs with the help of my family and close friends. By October, we were already harvesting the first crop — a kind of magic that inspired me to keep going.

At first, I planned to use saffron only as a spice, but my research revealed its incredible benefits for health and skin. I read the story that Cleopatra added saffron to her legendary milk baths, and in that moment the idea for Kesar Life was born — natural saffron-based cosmetics inspired by ancient beauty secrets and modern skincare.

Kesar Life is more than cosmetics — it is a personal ritual inspired by nature and legends, created with care, purity, and love. Our mission is to offer authentic, ethical, and effective skincare that awakens the senses and inspires the spirit.
